"A True Blue Beatnicc" is Anacron's outlandishly artsy, but lesser-known indie follow-up to the underground classics, "Who's Who?" and The Netherworlds "Pals". Comprised of an extensive amalgamation of rap, spoken word, live instrumentation, and beats; this album was organically distributed exclusively on artist-duplicated and hand-written CD-R format while on tour from 2001-2003.

Featuring additional production by Kristian Riley (of indie pop/rock bands Promise Ring, Newsense, & Citizen King), Aocoa (of PNTGLLRYNTWRK), Alo (of Garden Family Circle), and Hair Club Prez (bka Silence of Dirty Digital); the overall effort is a deeply thoughtful and creative journey through one of West Coast underground hip hop's most wildly creative and originally versatile minds.
